A form of subspace for G-S16, Sehraya comes in the form of an "inverted" form of the galaxy, however severely compressed, to the point where travel through it mirrors other FTL methods. It is a dead underside to the galaxy, where the roots of stars and planets alike manifest, an inverted orchard of pale white strands. Interacting with these roots is paramount to suicide, as it is the equivalent of crashing into a planet at relativistic speeds if not faster. Navigation through the Sehraya is a mentally taxing task, with the utter darkness contrasted by the roots of planets forming a supernatural experience. The Sehraya occasionally has massive sways in the roots, as if a hurricane blows, potentially trapping ships inside.
Intermatter is used as dynamite, opening a hole in the barrier between the galaxy and the Sehraya, however active intermatter usage to coat your ship in a bubble of safety is required to prevent the winds of the Sehraya from ripping holes in vessels.
