### -- The Hanshe Empire --
Location; E.Q - 1
The Hanshe Empire is one of only 4 systems, but their influence and resource gathering goes way beyond that. But it makes sure to stay away from neighboring nations.
It always keeps to itself, rarely outright declares enemies or war, and frowns upon its allies who drag them into such matters. But when it gets to such a point, having The Hanshe Empire as an ally, you are sure to get their support if it gets tough. Even when they only have 4 systems, they have solid forces.
Their people are proud to be in The Hanshe Empire, as their Empire always looks out for their people, and makes sure every individual lives comfortably. It is rare to see rebellions or wars between countries or planets within the Empire, but they still happen on occasion, as it happens everywhere else. Their peacemaking efforts are always top-notch, even in war, they look for other ways than just brute and death.
-- General Religion --
Their Empire's faith revolves mostly around a single religion, called Narara. The religion goes long back, and several offshoots have formed, each deriving its own meanings from the original texts. However, they all have one thing in common, the Gasia, which are giant snake-like creatures, the origin of Wisdom. In ancient times, their people would stumble upon a ruined and long-forgotten temple, with a size that made them dizzy just by making sense of it.
Inside, they first stumbled upon one of such creatures, floating and spinning around giant pillars, looming over them. Their head alone could swallow cities.
Of course, in the current times, it is considered folklore, but the religion remained and slowly transitioned with the times.
-- History --
The Hanshe Empire date back tens of thousands of years, under the guise of many different names. It was first a single-star system, traversing between the stars was very recent technology. It is believed that once the ancient temple was discovered, on the Sacred Planet Isestea, its technological advancements skyrocketed.
Around that moment, a new religion was born. It was unknown how fast the religion spread among the people, but at a certain point, most were converted.
Once peace and stability were mostly achieved, and their forces were strong for a single planet, they expanded to other star systems. And eventually, like today, had reigned over 4 star systems, all loyal to The Crown.
However, in more recent history, within the Empire, there used to be a massive conflict over The Crown, 400 years ago. Eogis, or what is now called The Tetania system, was one of the main contenders in the fight over The Crown. Even to this day the idea to overthrow the Monarchy still floats around in the minds of politicians in the Tetania system, but the current compromise that was made 400 years ago, has kept the idea from becoming an actual movement.
-- Culture --
The Hanshe Empire has many different kinds of cultures, but most believe in Narara, or deviations from Narara. The Anao system, the home system, is the most religious of all. At the Capital Planet, they welcome foreigners with open arms, and as a result, has a large population. There are more secluded sects, however, outside of the city, that has a more radical deviation from Narara.
On the Sacred Planet Isestea, it is considered taboo to step foot there as a foreigner, and you need permission from The Crown or Hanshee Council.
The Boclite system is more traditional, and often celebrates the more forgotten holidays of Narara. If one wants to learn more about the religion, it is advised to travel there and visit one of the many temples. However, be wise to not accidentally desecrate the temple or religion with foolish mistakes, be respectful.
The Thion system is more strict with its habits, time management, and work and life balance. One should not bother someone with work in their free time, nor should they work outside of work hours. It is wise to plan appointments far in advance, and not arrive too late. Respect has to be gained there, and can easily be lost. Since they have the largest military force in The Hanshe Empire, it is best to be on their good side.
The Tetania system is the only one where religion isn't the most important aspect of life, and there are rare instances where important figures don't even believe in Narara. They are more free-minded, and sometimes deviate from The Crown's agenda, or try to at the very least. Thanks to those aspects, the more wealthy often choose to reside there, but the Capital Planet was always a good second option.
-- Economy --
The economy of the Empire has never been as good as it is now. In the past, they had some rough times, especially during the internal warfare between the systems regarding The Crown, but most turmoil has been resolved. A lot of trading takes place between the Systems, and the Empire wishes to establish more outside trading as well to improve its current foothold within the greater Galaxy.
Even if their own economy is faring well, it doesn't mean as much outside of its own ecosystem, which they wish to improve upon.
– Diplomacy – (Important if you want to establish contact or alliances)
The way of diplomacy of the Hanshe Empire works in specific and streamlined ways. If one wants to get in contact with the Empire for the first time, one has to visit one of Hanshe’s outer systems’ establishments. They exist in many places and are well guarded and somewhat populated. The Empire’s population and tourists have to travel through here to get in or out of the Empire. It is extremely difficult to get around it, and consequences are there if it is attempted.
The greatest of Hanshe’s diplomats are here to welcome and handle foreign affairs, and if needed, do visit outside of the Empire if outside nations wish to meet in their turfs. Sometimes, the Empire takes matters into its own hands if they see another nation has potential and is yet to establish contact.
-- Leadership –
The Hanshe Empire is under the rule of The Crown, a single ruler who oversees, and dictates, all. Not much is known about the single ruler, or how large their family is, as they rarely leave the Ancient Temple. And in such a vast Galaxy, it is best to be secretive, to prevent assassinations.
Under The Crown is the Hanshe Council, each planet can send representatives depending on its population size. They guide The Crown in important matters and can vote to make decisions on any subject. But as one would suspect, The Crown has the final say. Within the Hanshe Council, there are subsections with experts regarding military decisions, health regulations, diplomacy, and many more matters.
The Hanshe Council currently hold 300 individuals, all with their own expertise and from their own planets within the Empire.
Both the Hanshe Council and The Crown, are located on the Sacred Planet, Isestea, in a now restored ancient temple. It is well guarded and visiting the temple is considered a great honor for foreign representatives.
Each planet has its own leadership under The Crown. They are allowed to make their own decisions, laws, and alliances. However, The Crown can always overrule whatever they do. However, it doesn't happen too often, as, over time, respect has been built between them. Rarely does a planet or system within The Empire make such foolish decisions that The Crown has to interfere.
-- Military Forces --
The Hanshe Empire is a big contender for having one of the most powerful Military Forces in the Galaxy, defense-wise, only outshines by a few exceptions. It is considered unwise
to enter their system or disturb their trade ships, as they are very protective of their people and territory. Within their system and reinforced trading routes, especially in their outer systems, there are specialized stations floating in space or situated on moons or planets. These stations aid their fleets with a full layout of their Empire on a hologram map, with every single ship, fleet, and moving object being displayed, no matter how large or small. The word goes around that even small meteorites orbiting planets or moons even contain radars, that all communicate with one another.
In addition, these stations specialized in disrupting any unauthorized forces that enter the Empire. They disable or cloud their radars, and hide their own forces from their view while being in perfect view of their own forces. The location of these stations and satellites is mostly unknown. Thanks to the undeniable loyalty to The Crown and their religion within the army, information rarely leaks out. If it is known to them that the location of one or more of their stations or satellites is leaked or known by outsiders, they will move the location immediately. And whoever leaked the information, gets the highest punishment there is, execution.
The ships of the Hanshe Empire are equipped with first-grade shields and strong armor, able to withstand most blunt attacks if their weapons are even able to lock on their ships thanks to their disruptors. If their shield would get even close to being depowered, their stations and interconnected systems with satellites will aid them with any energy needs, able to supply them very quickly, or even able to shield temporarily with long ranged shields if in a dire situation, however, these are less effective.
As actual weaponry, their larger ships are often equipped with EMP devices, to further disrupt their communication, navigation, and targeting systems, and aid in taking out shields. All of their ships make use of particle beams, sandblasters, and high-powered lasers to inflict damage. These weapons are easy to resupply with their current methods.
Thanks to their disruptive ways, and focus on shields, their battle methods are generally focused on drawn-out fights, to see which side can survive the longest, a fight of endurance.
Thanks to these facts, it is clear why the fleets are so effective in defending their current foothold in the Galaxy, but might not be as vital in offensive countermeasures against other Nations.
Their Military Forces have 5 prevalent figures that move their forces throughout their Empire and beyond, the Generals, each have a seat in the Hanshe Council, but don't have to attend each meeting thanks to their duties. They relay their information and orders smoothly with The Crown and their forces.
-- Trading --
The Hanshe Empire is very fond of trading and has set well-maintained and protected trade routes in and out of their Empire. With the use of the outer systems of the Empire, they have a good supply of important materials or huge quantities of regular materials.
-- The Anao System ( Home System ) --
-With the largest population of 17 billion, it is a welcoming planet with the most seats in the Hanshe Council. Many different species reside here, from all corners of the Galaxy. It isn't too frowned upon to not believe in Narara, but it is best not to mention it out loud.
-Isestea is a well-guarded Planet and is the home to the Ancient Temple, where The Crown and the Hanshe Council reside in. It is taboo to step foot there as a foreigner unless you have the permission of The Crown or the Hanshe Council. Even then, you will be heavily supervised. And before entering the Ancient Temple, one must bow to the Sacred Statue of their god.
- To get permission to set foot on the planet, or get an audience with the Hanshe Council, one must be a prevalent figure, important diplomat, or royalty from the individual's home nation.
-- The Boclite System --
Planet Abragua
Abragua is one of the lesser populated planets, with only 4 billion. It is home to the most information on the history of the Hanshe Empire and their religion Narara. It is also home to most academies, libraries, and temples. Academics love to gather and spread information with other nations.
-- The Thion System --
- Most Powerful Planet Butis
Butis is home to the most powerful Military presence within the Hanshe Empire, and are very loyal to The Crown. One must be very persuasive to convince them to act without their permission or wishes.
-- The Tetania System --
- Most Wealthy Planet Naolea
Naolea is home to the richest individuals in the entire Empire, thanks to the lax attitude of The Tetania System. Not believing in Narara isn't frowned upon, and even a small amount of politicians don't believe in it and aren't the biggest fans of The Crown. But thanks to an agreement made 400 years ago, they are content with their place in the Empire.
Planet Alora is the trading dream for many merchants, as it lies on the outer edge of the Empire. Many shipments from other nations arrive here and then spread throughout the Empire, which is well guarded and supervised. Nothing goes through here without The Tetania System being aware of it.
-- The Outer Systems --
The Hanshe Empire has set a claim on the outer systems of the Empire, which are mostly used for mining materials, setting up Military Outposts, and regular patrols and scanners to keep track of who enters and leaves the Empire. Well before reaching the core 5 systems, one must gain permission and give a reason to enter the Empire, if one is not originally from there.
Foreign military fleets are not allowed to enter the system unless The Crown gives them special permission. If it is a diplomatic convoy, only a reasonable size may enter the Empire. If extra protection is needed, the Empire will supply it with its military forces.
