Planets:
The planet La Pellegrino is mostly warm with temperatures increasing near the equator and becoming unbearably cold near the poles. The planet's atmosphere lacks oxygen, which poses problems for jet-powered aircraft that require ample oxygen to function at required RPMs and thrust levels. Even stationary jets have difficulty starting up at times.
Several cities have been liberated, including Taranta, Campobasso, Derugia, Sibilini, Capo d'Orlando, Mezzano, and Alcamo. However, partisan forces are currently contesting the Major Industrial Centre of Mare.
Industry:
Due to the scattered nature of their government, Il Repubblica Della Rosa controls very limited amounts of organized industry. However, the Companies of Capo d'Orlando Alcamo (COA) and Sibilini Heavy Industries (SHI) have been contracted to produce and procure new technologies for the revolutionary state.
Government:
Il Repubblica Della Rosa operates as a Social Democracy with three primary chambers. The first chamber is controlled by the public and meets monthly to discuss issues within the state. The people converse and submit a bill of issues to the Second chamber, which consists of elected officials who discuss how to resolve the issues.
The members of the second chamber then turn these proposals into bills that are passed to the final chamber of Government.
The third and final chamber reviews the proposed bills and decides if they need reforming or are ready for active use. If a bill needs reforming, it is sent back down to the second chamber to be fixed. Any particular bill can only be reformed three times before the Prime Minister votes to pass the bill or have it dissolved. Bribery is not tolerated and will result in immediate removal from the acting position.
