Becca smiled softly as they made it into the main city, and pulled Petra along with her as if she was bringing a friend somewhere. She found the nearest motel and checked them in a room with two beds, and had Petra follow her in. She promptly shut the door, checked for cameras, and- once she confirmed there were none- let her disguise fall away. She tossed her helmet onto the bed, and gently grasped Petra's hands.
"You need to get yourself together," she said in a soft voice. "I know youre not a soldier, but youve got to keep your fear in check the best you can, aye?"
She pulled Petra to sit on the bed, and Becca sat on the one opposite of her.
"Practice. Deep breaths, and try to make an expression opposite of your fear. Keep your eyes in check too. A smile, a frown, or neutral- anything but fear, okay?" she instructed, patting the girl's shoulder.
"While you do that, We can wait here until nightfall. Less people to see us while we do what we need to and take a vehicle. Alright?"
